BCTF Presentations for Parents
The British Columbia Teachers' Federation (BCTF) has a long history of working with parents, and know that students do better when parents take an active interest in their learning.
The BCTF offers 10 different presentations:
Antibullying, Advocating for your child, Aboriginal content in the curriculum: Exploring historical relationships between indigenous & non-indigenous peoples, So we have a revised curriculum: What does this mean for my child?, Social media 4 parents, Student privacy: What parents need to know about the collection of student data, Supporting your child's learning, Supporting gender-inclusive communities, Talking about racism: Setting the stage for meaningful dialogue, Why no school today? Professional development and my child's classroom.

BCTF Presentations for Aboriginal Parents
The BC Teachers' Federation has made a commitment to work in the area of Aboriginal education, and, in particular, with Aboriginal parents in BC.
